A free add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird that lets you sign and encrypt emails.

Enigmail is an add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird (from version 2.0 onwards) whose aim is to let the user sign and encrypt emails, always and only when you have GnuGP installed in your PC. When signing an email with Enigmail the user must make sure it is them and no-one else who sends that email, as the signature is legally binding.

Enigmail supports OpenPGP with Mozilla Thunderbird and Mozilla Seamonkey, you can encrypt emails to send, and then de-encrypt them on reception, you can configure it deeply, and it has an integrated viewer of OpenPGP-identified photos.

It is also free. The only defect is that to be able to use it you have to depend on other programs like GnuGP.
